Coverage and verification
We cover ServiceM8, Tradify, Powered Now and Fergus. Supplier pages were checked on 21 September 2026. These are desk-based comparisons of public information, not hands-on product reviews or a survey of the entire market.
Calculation rules
- ServiceM8: choose the least expensive plan that covers users and new jobs. The free plan allows one user and 30 jobs; paid plans allow unlimited users. When certificates are required, use at least Growing. Above 1,500 jobs, add 15p per additional job to Premium Plus.
- Tradify: Lite at £34 per user/month, or Pro at £37 when certificates are required.
- Powered Now: Business at £28/month for one user without a certificate requirement; otherwise Professional at £32 per user/month.
- Fergus: show the published starting price and request a confirmed team quote. Do not rank an unknown total as a priced estimate.
Certificates means selecting a plan with a published certificate capability. It does not guarantee a particular template is available or suitable. Device choices show guidance without changing the estimate. Results are sorted by subscription estimate, not overall quality.
What the estimate excludes
VAT, payment fees, SMS charges, optional extras, implementation, discounts and annual billing offers are excluded. Annual estimates multiply monthly prices by 12. They are not annual contract quotes. We do not assume that the cheapest plans have matching feature sets.
