Calculator information
The calculator runs in your browser. The team size, job volume and preferences you enter are used to display the comparison on your device. Seloqa does not ask for your name or email to use it and does not send those inputs to a Seloqa server.
Website delivery
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives technical information needed to deliver and protect this website, such as your IP address, browser information and requested pages. We use hosting and security services to operate the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for information about its processing. Cloudflare also processes requests sent to our own domain for the anonymous usage counts described below.
When you email us
Email sent to contact@seloqa.co.uk is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our Gmail inbox. We use your address and message to respond and keep a record of the exchange. Our reason for doing so is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries. You can ask us to delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, subject to any record we need to retain for legal reasons.
Anonymous usage counts
We count page views, starts of browser sessions and clicks to supplier websites to improve Seloqa. Our own measurement endpoint receives the page path, event type and, for a supplier click, the supplier name. It adds these to daily totals in Cloudflare D1. We do not send calculator answers, names, email addresses, browser identifiers or full referring URLs to that endpoint, and we do not keep an individual visit history in the metrics database. A browser session is counted once per tab session; this is an approximate measure, not a count of verified people.
The site stores a session-only flag in your browser to avoid counting every page as a new visit. If you turn usage counts off, it stores that preference in your browser and stops sending measurement events. Use the button in the footer on any page to turn counts off or on. Cloudflare still receives the technical information needed to host and protect the site.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising or affiliate tracking cookies. The usage counts above are for aggregate site improvement. If paid referral links are added later, we will explain any new attribution method and update this notice first.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with our response.
